3.2. Engineered Substrates
The semiconductor wafers, fabrication of which was considered in section 3.1. for a specific case of silicon wafer fabrication, can be engineered further with an improved device performance in mind. Various improvements that can be done to the conventional substrate wafer are introduced in this section.
